Report and takedown

ra'i is built on friends giving each other honest opinions. This page explains how to report something that should not be there, how rights holders ask for material to be removed, and what we do when we receive a report.

Reporting inside the app

An item, catalog, or comment: open it, tap the ⋯ menu, and choose Report. Pick a reason and add a note if you want.
A person: open their profile, tap ⋯, and choose Report, Block, or Mute. Blocked people cannot see your public content or contact you.
A photo in a chat: press and hold the photo and choose Report photo.

Reports are confidential. The person reported is not told who reported them.

What happens next

We review every report, usually within 48 hours.
Published content reported by three different people is hidden automatically while we review it.
Photos uploaded to published catalogs are also screened automatically when they are uploaded.
Depending on what we find, we may remove the content, hide a catalog from Explore, restrict features, or suspend or close an account. Serious or repeated violations are handled without prior warning, as the Terms explain.

Copyright, trademark, and image takedowns

ra'i shows product names, photos, and descriptions taken from retailers' public product pages, so that people can decide what to buy. If you own rights in material shown in ra'i, or you are a retailer or brand that does not want its images shown, email support@jointherai.com with the subject "Takedown" and include:

a link to the content in ra'i (or a description precise enough for us to find it);
what rights you hold, and a link to or copy of the original work;
your name, organisation, and a contact email;
a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised, and that your notice is accurate.

We remove or disable the material within 5 business days of a complete notice, tell the person who posted it, and give them the chance to reply. Accounts that repeatedly post infringing material are closed. A retailer or brand that asks for its product images not to be shown in ra'i is honoured for all of its products.

Security issues

If you have found a security problem in ra'i, email support@jointherai.com with the subject "Security". We read these first and will reply to you directly.

Someone in danger

If you believe someone is at immediate risk, contact your local emergency services first. Then report the content or person to us so that we can act on our side.
